How to sparkle with minimal effort

My sister in law was staying recently and wanted to make some thank you cards. She has made a few cards but had not done any embossing. I chose a simple styled card to make which when finished looks as if its a lot of work.

To make this card you cut your base 4 x 8 inches, score in half.
Cut two pieces of cream 3.75 inches square (one will be your inside piece)
Stamp your greeting on then but through big shot with the embossing folder of your choice.
Sponge around edges and adhere to the front of your card. Tip- sponging around the edges is a perfect way to hide the topper not being perfectly centred on the card front.
Stamp butterfly on a scrap piece of cream with black staz on.
Using a dauber in a circular motion sponge in the colours of your choice Tip make sure you overlap colours as it creates a more blended look in the colours
Punch out with coordinating punch.
Using two way glue run glue around the edge of the butterfly and sprinkle dazzling diamonds over glue.
Tip - I keep my dazzling diamonds in a takeaway container and just drop the butterfly in and pick it up with a set of tweezers. I have found the stuff goes everywhere if you try and use it in the pottle
Add a glue dot to the back of your butterfly and pop it on your card.
Adhere insert to inside

A super quick and easy card. She made 15 in less than 2 hours and was delighted with her efforts.
Till next time
Happy crafting
